Benedict Silver Cake Plate / Tray
This shiny EPNS (electroplated silver) tray is fancy and has lovely cutout relief around the edge that connects the urn and vine design with the detailed dropped tube flower abstracts.
It has been polished…and sparkles nicely. It does have a lot what I call angel hair scratches. Very fine scratches not visible at first glance. I think it adds a nice effect to it anyway. There is one stubborn spot or pitting in the center.
The mark on the bottom is the Benedict name and logo with the little bee in the middle and “Made in the USA”. # 1104. It is 10" in diameter.
Your cake will fit beautifully in the center and the cutaways and the design will border it perfectly.
